Do you have to Experience Ovulation pain to be ovulating?

Everyone is different so it depends on the individual I never knew when i was ovulating. the only time i felt any cramping or pain was during my period. as for your cycle that is completely normal as well i was only on a normal cycle when i was on birth control. other wise i would fluctuate a few days and stress will change the cycle too. sometimes you may have a little more of a discharge when you ovulate but that's the only thing that i am aware of.
