Looking for a movie title?

I don't remember any of the actors only the plot. A little boy sees imaginary friends/ghosts and then stops seeing them. Later in life they come back. The ghosts are people who died without finishing some important aspect of their life and must possess the main character and finish the unfinished business in life. When they do so a trian comes and takes them to Heaven. The main character gets into a crash when the ghosts reappear once he is an adult, and a black police officer is the one who investigates the accident. It turns out that one of the ghosts is his mother. Another ghost must sing, and goes on stage to sing the National Anthem. It starts as a solo, but as he is singing more and more musical additions from members on the stage are added.
