Anyone on a low carb diet?

Losing the weight should be motivation enough! It's definitely harder if you aren't able to cook at home all the time, but you might want to check out Mark Sisson's website www.marksdailyapple.com. It's not the Atkins diet, but he explains how our bodies aren't ready on the evolutionary scale to deal with processed grains like breads and pastas. That's why our bodies store them as fat if we don't use the energy right away. There are a lot of interesting recipe and food ideas, especially in the forums. Using a body fat calculator I found online, I measured my body fat percentage about 3 months ago and I lost about 5% body fat since I've cleaned up my diet. Motivated yet? Of course, exercise will always help when you're trying to lose weight, so try not to rely only on eating clean.
