I say Ethanol is a joke no real solution ?

Unfortunately for most areas of the country, Ethanol is not the solution. In states like Iowa and Nebraska where the subsidies for Ethanol exist, Ethanol fuel is the cheapest option at the pumps. Other real solutions such as biofuels are a great option, but the government is fining people who are caught using them for fuel tax evasion...I think if we take the time to convert a vehicle to use biofuels (ie-used vegetable frying oil from Mcdonald's) we should be rewarded for the environmentally conscious option we chose, as well as we shouldn't have to pay fines or taxes on fuel if we are not using it. Our government is hindering real solutions like this.
