I recently...?

...posted a question here regarding a lump I felt in my throat. I did as posters advised and went to the doctor. As a Brit living in Canada I don't have healthcare so have to pay for everything, hich is very expensive. I saw a doctor and she was worried it might be a tumour!! My husband was with me and I burst into tears, she said she wanted me to rush to the Emergency room at the hospital at once. So we raced there as she scared the life out of us. I asked her if I might die and she said she didn't know!! When I got the hospital, and after waiting for four hours to see the one doctor on duty, he said he could not feel any such lump but that my thyroid was enlarged. He said this could be down to stress and that my thyroid needs testing but that the doctor was very bad to scare us like that. I feel so unwell at the moment and I have had irregular periods for 7 years. I am worried about my thyroid. Does anyone else have a thyroid condition? Also, can a lot of stress temporarily cause a..
