Who is the better WR?

OK, someone on a Trash Talk page on Facebook tried to tell me that Larry Fitzgerald is better than Wes Welker. I say Wes is better because Welker runs better routes, and gets more first downs. And he is more humble and takes monster hits. The other guy says that Fitzgerald is better because he gets more TDs and a higher YPC (Yards Per Catch). Which is more important? A WR that gets more receptions for shorter yards, but the first down, which uses the clock, or a WR that almost always goes deep and gets more TDs? Another factor is that Wes Welker does really good in snow, whereas Fitzgerald doesn't.
